Fishing Rules

SALMON
Open when adjacent mainstem Columbia or Washougal rivers are open to fishing for SALMON. The daily limit follows the most liberal regulation of either area. Only hatchery CHINOOK and hatchery COHO may be retained.
All Game Fish
Daily limits, seasons, size restrictions, and gear restrictions are the same as the those in the adjacent mainstem Columbia.

Description:

Defined as those waters outside of the mouth of the Washougal River, north of Lady Island, and downstream of the Hwy. 14 Bridge at the upstream end of Lady Island.

All species - It is permissible for an angler licensed in Oregon or Washington to fish from a floating device.

Aug. 1-Dec. 31: anglers may fish with two poles with Two-Pole Endorsement and each angler aboard a vessel may deploy SALMON/STEELHEAD angling gear until the daily SALMON/STEELHEAD limit for all anglers aboard has been achieved.
